Jan Futures

Perhaps we can speak of the "futures" on this thread.

Anyways, the futures for 3 Jan are looking pretty bleak. Of course, that is still 2 days out and futures fluctuate a lot.

DJIA: -76.00

NAZ: -9.00

S&P: -5.30

Those were the closing prices for dec 30th. The futures market for those equity indices opens at, I think, 5 p.m. sunday est, (except holidays) so tonite at that time we can see the birth of the 2006 market. Oil, gold, u.s. dollar at 7 p.m.

The closing prices for Dec 30 were:

DJIA: -67.32

NAZ: -12.84

S&P: -6.13

Now the futures are in positive territory. I guess it was a bit EARLY for them when I posted them.
