    Oh...I got it......

    yeah, I read the news.....I wonder if we live in Russia.....I hope those people demand for property that gives them the same view.....I believe they live on the water......for thats the only satisfying view I would take......

    Real communist...like the community can't put the businesses somewhere else.....and Pfizer is one of those businesses getting the property, I think they stretched the "for the community" part a bit here.........I saw their news today also....

    greenspud is right about China.....I believe I said it before....we just need to go to another 3rd world country and start a manufacturing base there also and then put sanctions against China.....but my worries are with so little income here in the states being made, who is going to buy the products and get the companies a large profit.....answer it nowhere will there be a large profit.....all the countries that can buy the products are getting poorer by the day.......so there goes the profits:{

    This housing bubble is gonna be something.....I believe its a bit more than what happen in the 90's.....Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac still have to make it.....it may soon come to past that a cheap loan for a home will be hard to come by.......maybe they will take away credit cards also......

    Correct me if I missed it......

    You may need to read this again. This is now nation wide. Not just a little sea side CT town. :shock:

    (snip)

    WASHINGTON (AP) - A divided Supreme Court ruled Thursday that local governments may seize people's homes and businesses against their will for private development in a decision anxiously awaited in communities where economic growth often is at war with individual property rights.

    As a result, cities now have wide power to bulldoze residences for projects such as shopping malls and hotel complexes in order to generate tax revenue.

    I am all for having my home seized for a strip mall :^. Just make sure they have a 7-11 and a Subway so I can dumpster dive. :^

    Supreme Court Justice David Souter may be losng his home d/t a serious application for developing that property - he voted that way, so why not ?? The development may actually contribute more in the way of taxes to the community!
