Measure Without Accounts
The measure proposed by DeMint is one of several that Republicans are using to kick-start the Social Security debate. Senator Robert Bennett, a Utah Republican, said Bush backed his plan to introduce a measure that solves Social Security's fiscal problems and doesn't include accounts.
