Why does the worlds largest fund have the crapiest website? It looks and functions like it was put together by a high school student. Today they implement a new software change and per usual it melts. Don't they test these revision before unleashing in production.

Furthermore why have they not provided the most simpliest of usability features. For example why do you have to enter your email twice on each allocation change. Why not use the email address that you register with or allow you add one during signup. Why not provide some simple charting capabilities like every other financial investment site provides. Didn't they spend like $50 million on the first go around with delivering a website and then lost all that and started over again. Is there someone competent in charge of their IT.

Did anyone else see the new disclaimer page that, I assume, caused the tsp.gov site to go down this a.m.? I got past the IFT page a couple of times only to get hung up on the disclaimer page. BIG DISCLAIMER that you getafter you selected the "interfund transfer". Then you had a choice of cancel or accept or understand can't remember which one. Something to the effect of..... if you select the F, C, S, or, I fund the U.S. government and tsp.gov do not guarantee returns. Baahaahaa! Apparently someone must have complained. Bad, bad, bad, government and tsp.gov.

You mean the "all things to all people" government cannot guarantee returns on the market investments I have? I demand my money back! :l

Just remember - when the money isn't yours and nobody cares about the result enough to fire you, it's very tough to get any sort of accountability or competency. $50 million wasted is a drop in the bucket when the overall budget for the federal government exceeds $2 trillion.

When you can charge off all expenses as "administrative fees" the questions begs to be asked: "What's the frequency Kenneth?"
