With the dollar sitting at 81.47, and the low late last year at 80.40
Where can I follow the dollar index (can it be followed during the trading day or just at the end of the day). Also, in another thread, it was pointed out that the I fund is made up heavily of countries that use either the Pound the Euro, or the Yen. So does following the dollar index give me a good picture of the dollar reference these currencies, or could there be a divergance there.
You canuse the symbol $DXY in the Stock and Index Quotes at the bottom of the TSP Talk home page (or any non-message board page). I don't recall if this gives intraday info.

For intraday info on the dollar, I've been using http://www.advfn.com/p.php?pid=forexsince I'm not allowed on my site during working hours. It is an inverse way of tracking the dollar in that if the chart of the pound, euro or yen is up, than the dollar is down and vice versa.

Thanks Tom. Those are both going to be very helpful to me. The DXY quote does appear to give intraday info.

    Thanks again,

    Dave
