What are the name of the stocks that the C fund covers? Also I am retired now so it is hard to make interchanges in the funds. I have to contact the TSP office as far as I can understand. It would take 2 days and by then I probably would want to make other changes. What do you suggest.:?

    I think the C Fund mirrors the S & P 500. I think you can find a list of the S & P 500 Companies on most Investment websites.

    Capricon12,

Listen to zbwmy, he knows his stuff.

As far as your TSP account, have you ever considered doing a rollover and putting your $ in a rollover IRA with a mutual fund company or broker (discount or full service)? Just a thought.

    Cap -

Why can't you make transfers over the internet or use the Thriftline like us? Is this a retirement rule?

By the way, the Thriftline number is (504)255-8777. You will need your SSN and a PIN whether you use the phone or the internet, but both give you fast transfers.

    Tom
