Stocks Slide on Renewed Trade War Concerns
The Dow last week fell 0.89%, the S&P 500 rose 0.01% and the Nasdaq climbed 1.32%. Stocks declined sharply on Monday, June 18, as investors reacted to last week's escalation in the ongoing trade war between Washington and Beijing that targeted $50 billion in Chinese-made goods with fresh tariffs from the White House. Chevron was getting a boost from an upgrade to outperform from market perform at Raymond James.
