Stocks remained relatively flat most of the day before a late minor push lower. The Dow closed with a loss of 33-points and the 20,000 enthusiasts will have to wait another day. Volume was light and should remain light this week barring any surprises.

Daily TSP Funds Return

The rally seems to be running out of steam but the bears won't likely make much of a push during the holidays. They may try to put some pressure on stocks next to take advantage of any profit taking, but I suspect the next big move won't come until After the New Year starts.

The SPY (S&P 500 / C-fund) slipped 0.28% yesterday, testing the rising support line and the top of the flag formation it broke above on Tuesday.

The DWCPF (S-fund) took a little bigger hit but it always tends to be more volatile in both directions. It is riding along its recent support line and may either be making another "V" like low, or potentially creating a little bear flag.

The EFA (I-fund) continues to form a small bear flag. A test of the 50-day EMA will fill that closest open gap.

The Volatility Index hit a 16-month low on Wednesday, another sign of fearlessness.

The AGG (bonds / F-fund) had a good day and continues to try to pick itself off the bottom of its relentless downtrend. It will need to move above 108 before the trend traders may start to buy. They are still quite oversold and probably due for more relief in he short-term.
