    Day #10 of the alternating up / down chop for the market came in the form of a 1% loss for the S&P and Nasdaq, with stiffer losses for the small caps, and the Dow gave up 112-points.

    Stocks were mixed yesterday with the Dow gaining an impressive 89-points and the S&P picking up 0.5%, but the Transports and the small caps lagged badly, each closing with stiff losses.

    Stocks dropped yesterday but finished off of their lows as the Dow, down about 50-points in early trading, ended the day down just 5, but the broader indices didn't do quite as well.

    Stocks moved higher again on Thursday, wrapping a great month and first quarter for the stock market. The Dow gained 52-points on the day with similar percentage gains (.3% to .4%) in the S&P, small caps, and international stocks.

  5. Sticking With What Works

    For 10 out of the last 12 weeks now, the Top 50 have maintained a total stock exposure above 91.68%. This week, they're at 100% stock exposure. Might as well stick with what's been working, and being long is working.
