We saw a breakdown in the stock market on Thursday that seemed to be a topping turning point. That is until we got the October jobs report on Friday morning and investors did an about face and bought on this news. The stock indexes improved their technical picture but they are not out of the woods yet after this emotional rally, while the bond market may have turned a bearish corner.

It was not a good day on Wall Street yesterday as the Dow lost 153-points and the damage was wide-spread. We saw losses between 1% and 2% on the day across the board, although bonds benefitted as investors looked for a place to park their cash.

It was an interesting day on Wall Street yesterday as the Dow soared 129-points and the S&P 500 gained about a half of a percent, but all of the leaders were down. The Nasdaq, Dow Transportation Index, and small caps, were all down on the day.
