Stocks slipped after Thursday's open, but it didn't take long for the bulls to step up and buy the intraday dip. The Dow added another 70-points, while small caps led, and international stocks lagged.

The post-election reaction was mostly positive, but stocks were mixed yesterday with the Dow (+101) and the S&P 500 picking up a solid 0.6%. But small caps were up just slightly, and the Nasdaq closed in negative territory.

Stocks were mixed on Tuesday, gaps were filled, volume was light, and the indices closed well off their lows. The Dow gained 18-points and the Transports were up, but the S&P, the Nasdaq, small caps, and the I-fund closed modestly lower.
