    Stocks took another wild ride on Tuesday, smacking back much of Monday's record breaking gains. The Dow lost 786-points so clearly the volatility is still here. We saw a sharp spike higher after the Fed cut the Fed Funds interest rate by 0.50%, but that was short-lived, and if anything may have sparked more fears because of their concern.

    Stocks opened tentatively on Monday and we saw red numbers early on, but once the rally ensued, the stampede started, and the FOMO (fear of missing out) buyers went all in. The Dow ended with a record gain of 1294-points with monstrous percentage gains across the board in U.S. stocks, although the Transports were a little late to the party.

    It was another crazy day on Wall Street on Friday, and when the VIX is hitting 50, the swings will be head spinning. The Dow was down another 1000-points at the lows of the day, and it was moving 200 - 600 points several times an hour. Intraday rallies were being swatted down, but the final push higher was saved by the bell and the indices closed near the highs of the day, despite the losses in many of them. The Nasdaq actually closed with a green number.

    Stocks tanked for a 6th straight day on Thursday, and we did get a taste of panic and capitulation type selling toward the close. The Dow lost 1191-points, which is a record, and while it can get worse, it's just a matter of time before we get a snap-back rally. The question is, how much will we be able to trust any rebound in the short-term? That's what makes this action dangerous - and exciting - depending which side of the fence you are currently on.
