  1. TSP Talk: Is the bottom in?

    Stocks had a big follow through day on Friday after Tuesday's reversal rally. The Dow gained 361-points or just over 1%, while the other major indices performed even better. The action looks strong but there are still a few obstacles - especially in the broader Nasdaq and small caps indices as we'll see in the charts. Bonds rallied and the dollar was down. Despite the big gains to end the week, all of the TSP stocks funds lost between 1.3% and 2% on the week.

  4. TSP Talk Weekly Wrap Up


    Stock indices were agitated this week with inflation in the hot seat. The first half of the week was the steepest sell-off since October and by Wednesday's close the C and S-fund were down 4 and 5.3% respectively in those first three days. Dip buyers and opportunistic traders jumped back into stocks and the last couple days brought decent gains to cut the early losses. Friday's gains were steady and held not far from the highs.   5. TSP Talk: A little bounce back

    We got a little bounce back on Thursday after the three day pullback. There was a midday scare where it looked like the rally was going to fail, but the bulls did a good job of battling right back, although the close was a little iffy. The action didn't improve the charts all that much and we probably need to see more upside follow through in the coming days or the bears may have at it again.
