    Another sell-off on Wall Street Wednesday and investors are starting to feel the pain. The Dow lost 238-points while the Russell 2000 hit correction mode being down 10% from its early July peak.

    The volatility continued on Wall Street and we saw the bulls and bears really battle it out on Tuesday with the bears claiming a victory by the close. As fast as they went up in the morning, the indices came down in afternoon trading and the Dow ended the day down 28-points. Small caps were the big loser again.

  3. Down, but positive reversal

    The Dow ended its streak of five consecutive triple digit point moves with a 42-point loss on Monday. It didn't begin that way as we were looking at a nearly 180-point loss just after the open, so the 42-point loss was actually a solid performance considering the start. Small caps nearly came back to break-even.

    Stocks continued their volatile ways on Friday as the Dow jumped 167-points, and that means every day last week produced a triple digit move in the Dow. Three were negative and one was positive.

  5. It's not over, or is it?

    ___Here's a quick review of the Point and Figure charts. These are not the usually charts you'll see, but I thought I'd mix it up a bit. The hourly timeframe was chosen because the price objectives are tighter and I believe it speaks better to the intermediate scale many of us use.

    AGG: While price has broken below 5 Os, there are still 3 Os of support at 108.1, and a bearish price objective of 108.4 nearly met, I believe much of September's decline may have already taken place.
