    Default Website traffic sentiment

    Tom

    I have a theory

I believe there may be a direct correlation between TSP Talk's website traffic and sentiment.

The more Bullish, the less traffic and vice verse. Do you have the stats to prove/disprove this?
I'm looking for an entry below $EMW's 669, but I'll take whatever the market is willing to give.

I can check. I'll try to remember to do the research this weekend.

Define Traffic! Number of hits or number of people?
But you don't understand my point of view...I suppose there's nothing I can do..Did you stand by me?

Hard to define when you consider we get new members added every day.

I have counts of "accesses" and "visits" for the higher traffic pages.

If a user is surfing the site, they are considered 1 visitor. But they can access many pages.

    Thanks Tom

I just thought it might be a neat idea, becuase I seem to notice things get slow around here when the markets are doing good.

I think there's a correlation between the VIX and posts about the stock market on the MB. Posts about the stock market have been on the rise the past two or three days.
