The state has been ranked by Chief Executive magazine as the worst place to do business for seven years.
"California, once a business friendly state, continues to conduct a war on its own economy," the magazine wrote.

Also from the article: "Later this year, California will set up a new agency that will serve as a focal point for economic development and job creation, he said. Among its goals will be to reverse the perception that California is business-unfriendly."

Lose the new bureaucratic agency, lower taxes, and reduce the cost of doing business in the state, and they might win back some businesses. Otherwise California will go from the fifth largest economy in the world, to a third world nation.

Texas economy? I'm not sure that's the model you want to emulate!

Texas is all smoke and mirrors as they BORROW money for government - A RATE MORE THAN THE U.S. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT- instead of paying as they go.

NO THANKS.

Texas's government debt has grown at a far higher rate than the U.S. government debt.

Seems they like all that fancy spending, but none of the taxes necessary to pay for it. Texas put in all on a Texas-sized credit card.

Non-official territories/districts where voters can cast a ballot for President in a primary:
51. District of Columbia.
52. Minor Outlying Islands (about 11 islands) in the Pacific


Officail U.S. territories:
53. Puerto Rico.
54. U.S. Virgin Islands.
55. American Samoa.
56. Guam.
57. Northern Mariana Islands.




We used to have the Panama Canal Zone too, but we gave that back to the Panamanians in 1979, so it doesn't count anymore.

Personal incomes in Texas fall below the national median across just about every geographical area in Texas.

Wow, are you way behind. Perry dropped out a long time ago. The issue is not Texas,Jobs and Texas debt (taxpayer approved bonds), it's the US,jobs, and the bankrupting of our childrens future via debt.
