I don't get on during peak times anymore, but since the recent "fix" I have noticed a significant increase in the board's overall response times and performance.
What say you?
Tom
Some of the talk messages scroll horizontally off my puter, and some don't. I'm running 800x600, otherwise I need a magnifying glass (an age thing).
Otherwise the performance is (*&^%$#. You could)(%#&%_+!. But in the meantime$(&$+_@&% (mailto:&$+_@&%)^# is &^%$#@()& )(*%^.
Oher than that, things are fine! Have a happy New Year!!!

Tom,
I'll drop one word of you question and say that I have noticed a huge "differance in the board's response, lately. Much cleaner, lively, and positive. I know certain people are not around anymore, or at least are not posting under their old name/or just are hiding and are posting with a better attitude. I'm not sure which is true but it is much better and I appreciate it.

:#Tom, this is still happening, but only on occassions. I wanted to print Spaf's exit plan, but I would need a special banner printer to do it!!! It scrolls so far off the page it is from `sea to shining sea.' Since it isn't just me, I would suppose it isn't `me n'my computer.'
thanx -

I think you will notice that happens only on pages with inserted graphics.
To best way to print it grandma, and this might be a hassle, would be to cut and paste the text only into Word or notepad, etc, then print.

A lot simpler to just print it in Landscape Mode instead of Portrait mode...that way nothing gets truncated.
Happy 2005 ! :^

I can't help the message board layout but I just made an update to the market comments page (www.tsptalk.com/comments.html (http://www.tsptalk.com/comments.html)). It now has a "printer-friendly" link on it. Someone emailed me the other day and requested this.
Sorry I don't have an input here, Tom, I haven't been on during the day and I'm connecting through my cell phone (which is pretty speedy) until I move in (man I can't wait!).
