I spent most of my day in an airplane. Made me think about all those lost souls that day. I pray we never see that madness again.

The thing I remember about 9/11 were the soldiers waiting in line, for miles, on Route 1 to enter Fort Belvoir - calm, patient and ready to do their duty. I also remember my wife's hospital. They were in lock down, scared, waiting to receive burn victims from the Pentagon.
We left DC on on 9/13 for a camping trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. All the way up on I-270, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, the Ohio Turnpike, and I-75 (over 800 miles) there were American flags hung over each overpass. There was also a Pennsylvania state trooper on a hill overlooking the Turnpike at Shanksville PA. I guess it was their way of commemorating Flt 93.---Jim

Sad thing is where are those flags now? It was the thing to have them hanging from you house and business and everything...where are they now?
