What did you guys do for your Mother's Day????

My daughters came bearing wonderful gifts, took me out to a very nice restaurant, and wrote a poem for me while they were here!

What did you guys do for your Mother's Day????

I put mine to work in the garden. :D

I figured that if I was moving the 50 40lb bags of top soil, the least she could do was plant the 2 5'x25' rows of veggies.

For some reason it didnt go over as well as I thought it would.

I got a stern talking to. She was armed with only a hard rake which was clearly no match with the compost pitchfork I was using so it didnt go to blows this time.

Learnt my lesson good I did.

(Next Mothers Day, make sure she doesnt have a garden tool when I make the "suggestion".)

Although she was nice enough to put the bedding on the couch for me this evening.
