It's official, I've just added TSP Talk as an external link in Wikipedia's Thrift Savings Plan category. If anyone wants to add more stuff in there... :)

Here's the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrift_Savings_Plan

Sweet! Thanks. I thought someone had done this before? I wonder if it was somehow deleted?

Well I know I added it in there about a month ago and notified Rod about it.. I think the competition is doing it.
In which case you notify Wikipedia what is happening.

Ahh the marketplace, competition and Adam Smiths invisible hand.

Anyone can delete or add them. Its the "beauty" of wiki. I just added TSPTalk back onto it. How long itll last? Now thats a different question. There is a "talk" under the external links about removing all but the tsp.gov site. Wiki does have rules set against linking to message boards, so I gave the link to TSP Talk's front page instead.

Based on the edit history, it looks like this guy is deleting the TSP Talk entry... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:RevRagnarok

Could "this guy" be any guy, or any girl? If so, some folks do come to mind.....

It could be, but this guy made some comment when deleting tspgo's link like... please read the rules and guidelines. He must be a Wiki purist. :)

Or a tspgo fan.

I think what hes objecting to is that wiki doesnt like posting links to message boards. We need to make sure to link to tsptalk.com instead of the message boards.

The next time to add it back, make sure to put a note about adding tsptalk back for the informative content that is widely available on the site.

Why not a TSP Talk entry into Wikipedia itself?

That's too logical. :D

I got this off his website, talking about his name, RevRagnarok:

Ragnarök is an Old Norse compound word, with ragna being the plural of regin ("ruling power"), which is related to the words regal, regent, regime, and the German reich. Then, rökr being "doom", "bringing of fate", or as a later development, "twilight", which is the source of Richard Wagner's name for it, Gotterdamerung ("Twilight of the Gods").

Thinking pretty high and mighty of himself. As Shrek would say, "Trying to compensate for something?"
