Are you talking about when you withdraw funds from the I fund in retirement?

Yes. I understand or someone said that I might have to pay international taxes if you buy and sell international stocks. That is why I have stayed away from it as of now. Do you have any reference to any regulations as to that subject.

You are not goig to pay any international taxes on funds you withdraw from any of your allocated TSP account. The only tax is our IRS tax. How do I know this? I don't, but it's common sense, and you can call TSP and confirm.
