How does it work now with with the L funds?

Welcome bubba! Since the spreadsheet / calculator is quite the eyeful already, I was thinking the L funds would be too much to add.

The L funds are for buy and hold investors and if someone chooses one, it should be easy enough to track the results. If someone wants to actively trade the L funds, good luck. That would be an interesting task.

If you plan to only use the L funds, try this spreadsheet... http://www.tsptalk.com/utilities/tsp_Lfund.xls (http://www.tsptalk.com/utilities/tsp_Lfund.xls)

I haven't created one that mixes both the L and the old funds. Like I said, it would be way too tough to read.

Thanks for your responce. I don't use the L funds right now but I have been using the spreadsheet since the first of the year. I just loveit. Just copy and paste.

I wish they stuck those L fund prices on the right. Having them on the left did mess up the quick cut and paste we had with the date.

If you still want to cut and paste the share prices from the tsp.gov site to your spreadsheet, you can try what I did. Add 5 culumns between the date and the G fund price, then squeeze them down until you can't see them. It will paste without showing the L fund prices...
