With nearly 1000 message board members and over 18,000 posts, I think we have grown to the point where we can use additional moderators. If anyone has any interestin becoming a moderator, please send me an email. I think one or two will probably do.

Thanks,
Tom

Thank you for the nomination. But I truly could not put forth the effort or thetime to do so. I will be deploying soon. Itshould be left in the hands of someone Tom can depend upon to faithfully police the site. IMHO, a civilian would be perfect for the job.

LORD Bless you:^

I don't think I could be balanced, given my internal angst over the continued behavior of a particular, repeatedly banned and resurrected individual. I have been oft tempted to employ my phaser and photon torpedos. Not a very moderate aproach for a moderator :).

Great! Pick a forum...

I'm looking for someone to help watch:

"Day to Day Market Talk (http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/forum22/)"

"Members' Allocation Talk (http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/forum1/)" and

"Member Allocations, Transactions and Returns (http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/forum21/)"

The latter would need someone who was here as often as possible to watch the timliness of the interfund transfers for tracking purposes.

Skypilot is also considering it and said he'd get back to me over the weekend.

Thanks,
Tom

Tom, I'm always willing to help out a good cause.
You can assign me the first one. I'll moderate the "Day to Day Market Talk" group.

Same ol' same ol'.

Worked 24 hours of OT in April, have 24 next month, 24 in June, and 24 in July (with the possibility of 16 more being added).

None in August, though - perhaps my supervisor finally developed a conscience and feared I'd burn out. :P

I don't think that Pryriel should be a moderator. He has unjustly bad-mouthed me and he repeatedly posted to a forum that I had created and clearly marked as wanting other people to not post there. Just look10 postings above this and you will read his post (Posted: Wed Apr 27th, 2005 08:47 pm) complaining about getting his posts deleted and he used the H-word . This is putting the fox in-charge of the hen house.

You gotta be kidding.................

Don't let that "moderator" title turn you into a wuss pyriel. He posted in a section that he shouldn't of posted and the whole thread should of been deleted in my opinion. Of course, just my opinion. :^

Good luck,

Mike

Greg, the moderator responsibility is not for personal retribution, and the ambition for power is the strongest disqualifierfor such a position.

To all: We each lack perfection, so, let us avoid the playgroundbehavior that has caused so much uglienes over the past several months.

Let's play nice, go on from here, and avoid another escalation over the weekend. It is not profitable, and will utimately end up badly (as before).

Big fonts, can't spell, bad speech, attacks women...........sound familiar?

I'm trying very hard to be nice moderators.....................

I know why Sarah left, and it had to do with a certain someone's various manifestations here. I'll leave it at that.

She was not "run off".

This site proves that people age but don't necessarily mature.

I appreciate the help! Thanks. You too Pyriel! Where's Rolo?

Tom, I don't have the delete or editfunction available for this forum. However, I think we are making some progress, as those who post their internal bitterness begin to understand that they have truly exposed their hidden self, for all to see.

If anyone has ever coached T-ball, taught Sunday School or mentored at risk kids, they will understand some of the personality traits that have manifested themselves so publicly.

I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend, and if you have not done so yet, CALL YOUR MOTHER!
