You are doing well. Being in the G fund for the first 5 days of the year was smart.

Looking for I or C to go down big, after 2 good down days I am looking at getting back in on the 3rd or 4th. Expect at least 2% drop, but I will evaluate the reason and strength--RSI, Stochastics, volume and rate. Might be heading for a sustained downturn, maybe a 7% overall correction.

I look for good entry points and get out quick, right now I am on the sidelines.

This strategy did keep me out of most of the Dec rally though, kind of a mode I go into in choppy times, I consider my Feb made at almost 2% and sitting in the G fund.

Might do better in the F but I do not understand the bond fund, only been in it once-did OK but nothing to write home about.

THANKS just trying to understand.:)

Good luck

Welcome Mac. Unfortunately this post doesn't do us any good. This waswritten on Feb 8th and isexactly what I mean by "no Monday morning quarterbacking." Even if it is accurate, the after the fact posting makes it less impressive. People always do betterthey post the transactions after the fact. :P You are not the first to do this but I have to make the point here again about the rules in having a MemberAccount for us to follow. Please check out the rules... http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/forum21/91.html (http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/forum21/91.html)

But we are glad you joined us and started an account.

For anyone tracking this account, it will have to beeffective 2/10/05 using 2/9 closing prices.

Thanks, and good luck.

Mac, are you thinkingthat the C-fund is going to have bounce up tomorrow? How long do you plan to be in 100% C?

Thanks

Guys I was only catching folks up, sorry for my greivous transgression.

Yes, I have a long range bullish attitude, I have been actively watching and managing for over a year. Most of my plays are short term.

If I see two good up days I will be contemplating getting out, I will look for a recovery of 80% of the recent loss. I folks are looking for hard rules, I have none.

I look at News, Fed Policy, Interest rates, Charts, But keep common sense in my back pocket.

Sorry about the late post, pulled out of the C at cob today

Allocation 52% G 48% I

I have contributions going intoG so I have some G most of the time but it usually ony amounts to 1% at any one time.

This time was a long one for me, felt I needed to recover from the bad move into the C & I, Still going to stick out the I until we get back to 15.50 or so.
