TSP
Talk
was developed by one of you, a TSP participant. I have been involved
in investing in one capacity or another since 1984.
Following and predicting the action of the market has been a hobby of mine.
My ambition was to
understand what makes it tick. I certainly don't claim to be a
great
market timer or guru but I have had some success managing
my TSP account and I want to share what I know with others
and maybe help them
grow their accounts.
Managing money is not much fun to most
people. I happen to enjoy it.
I have wanted to create this website for several years but it has
only been since TSP went to five funds and daily transactions that I
thought it would be worthwhile to others.
Then I saw some disturbing statistics in the Thrift Savings Plan
Highlights newsletter and I knew it was time to act.
More on that below.
Give a man a fish and you feed him
for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
This site isn't meant to
primarily tell you what to do.
The goal is to provide you with the information you need to help you
make your own decisions. Subscribers will be in the know to what
the premium services and systems are doing, and I also make some
buy and hold allocation recommendations based on risk
tolerance, but helping you understand the market is the key.
Your feedback and input is encouraged on the TSP Talk message board,
which can be an invaluable source for shared information. We
can all use this to make more informed decisions.
Much of TSP Talk is free, although we do offer
premium services
for a fee. Your success is our success! All
we ask is that you
spread the word if you like what you see.
The only way we can keep this a free site is to generate enough traffic to
attract advertisers and sponsors who can cover some of our costs.
You can help by using our links when buying their products and services. |
